Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البيوع باب ما جاء فى التسعير

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَثَابِتٍ وَحُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ غَلاَ السِّعْرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سَعِّرْ لَنَا. فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمُسَعِّرُ الْقَابِضُ الْبَاسِطُ الرَّزَّاقُ وَإِنِّى لأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى رَبِّى وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ يَطْلُبُنِى بِمَظْلَمَةٍ فِى دَمٍ وَلاَ مَالٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Prices became excessive during the time of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and people said, "Messenger of God, set the prices for us!" He replied, "Indeed, God is the One who determines the value of things (1), He is the One who curtails (2), gives amply (3) and provides (all of His creatures) with sustenance (4), and I hope to meet my Lord with none of you having a claim of injustice, involving blood (shed) or wealth, against me."
